First Place Video - Yvonne Choo
An international video competition on the topic 'A World Without Polymers?' held in conjunction of the International Year of Chemistry 2011.
Yvonne Choo Shuen Lann is a Malaysian who has just completed her Matriculation. She will be pursuing her first-year degree in Pure Chemistry at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in September 2011. She is also the author of an educational blog for fourth and fifth-year secondary school students in Malaysia (www.yvonnechoo.co.cc). Since young, she has always wanted to become a scientist majoring in the field of Chemistry. Holding on to the saying ‘When there’s a will, there’s a way’, she believes that with her persistence and hard work, someday her dream of helping the world with Science will come true.
