The IUPAC World Chemistry Congress is held every 2 years and has a reputation for excellent scientific presentation and discussion. Leading scientists from all member countries of IUPAC will attend this meeting.  This year, the International Year of Chemistry, the 43rd IUPAC World Chemistry Congress will be held in Puerto Rico during the period July 30-August 7. The Convention Center of the Americas in San Juan is the venue for the conference.

This symposium will highlight the work of polymer chemists at an early stage of their career. Topics will include new advances in polymer chemistry, hybrid polymer systems, self-organizing polymers, nanoparticle synthesis, and applications of polymers in biology.  This session will provide a forum for younger scientists to network and to develop collaborative interests.

We plan a 1-day program. There will be one keynote talk in the morning and one in the afternoon.
